China Railway has launched services specifically for seniors. First, ticketing: seniors 60+ can book by phone through the 12306 hotline. No account registration needed, no card linking β one call does it all.
For sleeper berths, 12306 will prioritize lower berths for people over 60. For seniors over 65 with limited mobility, you can book assistance in advance β someone will meet you at the station and accompany you throughout.
Manual lanes are now reserved at ticket gates for seniors and children. Stations are adding more accessibility elevators.
